(The following is believed to be a great spiritual revelation. The man responsible for its preparation does not reveal himself, lest the reader’s attention be diverted from the Word. This is, therefore, not intended to promote any religious sect. The objective is simply to enliven ardent and serious Bible study, as our Lord said:
"Search the scriptures..." (John 5:39) "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32) "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." (2 Corinthians 3:17)
Liberty could not have referred to socio-political, but to spiritual freedom from human precepts, doctrines, and religious traditions.)
A WARNING TO ALL:
The apostles forewarned the people to the onslaught of the enemy with the following guidelines:
2 Corinthians 11:4 "For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."
Galatians 1:8 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
The apostles emphasized the need to identify the real Jesus that they recognized, because it was prophesied that "other Jesus’s" would be preached to the people.
Recognition of the real Jesus is the only way to the truth, for CHRIST IS THE TRUTH (John 14:6). The world is virtually showered with "truths" by people professing to be prophets, apostles, preachers, teachers, and evangelists of Jesus Christ. Our Lord gave the warning:
Matthew 24:5 "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ (truth); and shall deceive many."
Matthew 24:23-25 "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ (truth), or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before."
There is only one real Jesus; so there is only one truth. Today, people recognize different Jesus’s and believe different truths. Since the 2nd century A.D., different doctrines introducing JESUS have cropped up. Among the many:
1. The Sabellian or Oneness doctrine teaches that Jesus is the Father and the Holy Spirit. The name of God is Jesus Christ. (Advocated by Sabellius in the 2nd century A.D.)
2. The Arian doctrine teaches that Jesus is only a man, and never a God. (Espoused by Arius, 265-356 A.D.)
3. The Trinitarian doctrine teaches that God is composed of three divine persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person is a God, but one person is not the other two persons. (Championed by Athanasius, 295-373 A.D.)
4. The Heraclian doctrine teaches that Jesus is the Father, and the Holy Spirit is only a force of God. (Endorsed by Heraclius in the 6th century A.D.)
5. The Jehovah doctrine teaches that God is Jehovah, the Almighty God; and Jesus is only a Mighty God. (The name Jehovah was coined by Cardinal Peter Galatin in 1518 A.D.)
How easy for people to recognize the different Jesus’s, and believe the different "truths," because all doctrines are supported by Bible verses! The guide given by God, however, is incontrovertible -- IT IS MUST BE IN LINE WITH THE (ORIGINAL) APOSTLES’ TEACHINGS.
GOD IS REPRESENTED BY HIS WORDS (John 1:1)
The Spirit God spoke in order to relate to His chosen people. These spoken words were relayed to the prophets and apostles, which they wrote and is now compiled in a book called the Holy Bible. God teaches us how to read the Holy Bible:
Isaiah 28:10 (KJV) "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:"
A topic should be set, and this is explained by "LINE UPON LINE, HERE A LITTLE AND THERE A LITTLE." With God’s design and from His direction, we get the great spiritual message of His words.
HUMAN INNOVATION IN THE WORDS OF GOD:
Man, however, improved the words of God by providing the following:
- The Bible was divided into CHAPTERS by Stephen Langton about 1228 A.D.
- The Old Testament was divided into VERSES by R. Nathan in 1448 A.D., several decades before Columbus discovered America.
- The New Testament was divided into VERSES by Robert Stephanus in 1551 A.D.
- The entire Bible, divided into chapters and verses, first appeared in 1560 A.D. in the Geneva Bible. This was at the height of the Inquisition period.
We cannot therefore rely on the CHAPTERS and VERSES to get the required message for these are but the brainchild of men. To do so, the reader will end up taking the CONTEXT of the story, resulting in the loss of the great spiritual message of the word. Only God is the authority to direct us in reading the Holy Bible. Human intelligence cannot supersede divine wisdom.
A GUIDE TO THE TRUTH
Galatians 1:8-9 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."
a) Following the guide, if Paul or John or Matthew, and the other apostles, appear to us today, and speak contradicting what they have written in the gospels and epistles, LET US NOT BELIEVE THEM. They must be impostors!
b) Following the guide, if an angel, or Virgin Mary, or any saint, in apparition perform wonders, and speak not in accordance with what the apostles have written in the gospels and epistles, LET US NOT BELIEVE THEM. They must be impersonators!
1) According to the gospel of PAUL, if we are to ask Who the God is (and how many), the answer is precise with a LINE, not the verse.
1 Corinthians 8:6 "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."
2) According to the gospel JOHN, if we are to ask what the form of God is, the answer is precise with a LINE, not the verse:
John 4:24 "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
3) According to the gospel of PAUL, if we are to ask what this ONE SPIRIT GOD did, the answer is clear-cut with a LINE, not the verse:
1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV only) "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
4) According to the gospel of PAUL, if we are to ask Who the FATHER GOD IN THE FLESH is, the answer is definite with the LINE, not the verse:
Philippians 2:5-8 "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."
1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"
5) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, if we are to ask our Lord Jesus Whom to worship only, the answer is definite with the LINES, not the verse:
Matthew 4:10 "Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written,Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."
6) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, if we are to ask if the FATHER GOD in the FLESH was worshipped, the answer is factual with the LINES, not the verses:
Matthew 2:11 "And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh." (The Wise Men from the East.)
Matthew 8:2 "And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean."
Matthew 28:9 "And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him."
John 9:38 "And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him." (The man born blind.)
Luke 24:52 "And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:" (The disciples after the resurrection of Christ.)
7) According to the gospel of JOHN, if we are to ask whether a supernatural being aside from God deserves worship, the answer is definite with the LINES, not the verse:
Rev 22:8-0 "And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God."
8) According to the gospel of PAUL, if we are to ask Who the ONE LORD is, the answer is precise with the LINES, not the verse:
1 Corinthians 8:6 "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."
9) According to the gospel of MARK, if we are to ask our Lord Jesus Christ which is the first (greatest) commandment of all, the answer is definite with the LINE, not the verse:
Mark 12:28 "And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29 "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:"
10) According to the gospel of JOHN, if we are to ask our Lord how He relates with the Father now that He is the Father in the flesh, the answer is definite with the LINE:
John 10:30 "I and my Father are one."
11) According to the gospel of PAUL, if we are to ask about the image of the invisible God, the answer is precise with the LINES, not the verse:
Colossians 1:15-16 "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"
The gospel of PAUL was confirmed by the gospel of JOHN, when Philip wanted to see the Father. The answer is definite with the LINES, not the verses:
John 14: 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."
12) According to the gospel of PAUL, since Jesus is the Father in the flesh, He is referred to as the Creator.
Colossians 1:15-17 "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."
13) According to the gospel of PAUL, if we are to ask, "Does God keep to Himself the name of the Creator? The answer is precise with the LINES, not the verse:
Ephesians 3:9 "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:"
14) According to the gospel of PETER, if we are to ask, "If the Father is also the Son Jesus, why did the Son talk, pray, and humble Himself before the FATHER? The answer is clear-cut with the LINES, not the verse:
1 Peter 2:21 "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:"
The above gospel of PETER is actually a confirmation of the gospel according to JOHN, who heard our Lord say:
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Continuing the gospel according to JOHN, our Lord in showing the WAY went to the extent of humbling Himself and acting like one of His disciples:
John 20:15-17 "Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. 16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. 17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God."
Human wisdom cannot comprehend and justify the Son talking, praying, and asking favor from the Father if they are one and the same. What more, if the Son says that the Father is His God! However, the Natural Man deserves this act because according to the gospel of PAUL:
1 Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
15) According to the gospel of PAUL, the Son Who is the Father in the flesh is now the MODEL to His brethren. This is precisely stated in the LINES, not with the verse:
Romans 8:29 "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."
16) From the truth in the gospel of PETER, PAUL, JOHN, and MATTHEW Jesus showed His role as model: weak on His own, humbling Himself before the Father, etc.:
Matthew 26:39 "And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."
17) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, confirming the gospel of the other apostles, the Father spoke favorably of the Son:
Matthew 3:17 "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
As model to His brethren, it is expected that the Father would also say the same thing about them.
18) According to the gospel of PETER, the Son as MODEL, the Disciples are expected to be spoken of favorably by the Father also:
1 Peter 1:15-16 "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy."
19) JOHN also wrote a gospel showing the Son praying to the Father, by way of example.
John 17:14-16 "I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."
20) According to the gospel of LUKE, Jesus, as model, spoke to the Father as He was nailed on the cross. :
Luke 23:34 "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots."
21) According to the gospel of JOHN, Jesus, as model, humbled Himself before the Father. It is the LINE, not the verse, that imparts the message:
John 5:19 "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise."
22) According to the gospel of JOHN, Jesus said, "a person will die in his sins for not believing the He is He:"
John 8:24 "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins."
(Who is the He that Jesus was referring to? If only we open the Old Testament books, we find many lines that "He" refers to the Father God.)
Isaiah 46:4 "And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you."
Isaiah 52:6 "Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I."
23) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, Jesus Christ promised to be with His disciples till the end of the world. The LINE gives the clear message:
Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
24) According to the gospel of JOHN, Jesus Christ said that after His death, the disciples would receive the Holy Spirit:
John 7:39 "(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)"
25) According to the gospel of PAUL, it was the Holy Spirit Whom the disciples received at Pentecost. The LINES give the clear message instead of the verse:
Acts 2:1-4 "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."
26) According to the gospel of PAUL, the Holy Ghost purchased us with His own blood:
Acts 20:28 "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood."
(Using the intellect, is this not foolishness? No wonder, according to the gospel of PAUL, God condemns human wisdom:
1 Corinthians 1:19-21 "For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."
27) According to the gospel of JOHN, our Lord said:
John 8:19 "Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: <U>if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also."
(How could people profess knowing JESUS when coming from their lips, the Father God is a mystery? This is not the "gospel of the Apostles!")
28) According to the gospel of PAUL, the one and only LORD (1 Corinthians 8:6) JESUS CHRIST Who died on the cross is the SPIRIT.
2 Corinthians 3:17 "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
Jesus Christ, therefore, in His Holy Spirit form, has already come at Pentecost! However, using the senses, this is contrary to what the apostles witnessed at the ascension of Christ into heaven:
Acts 1:9-11 "And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
No wonder people are waiting for the SECOND COMING of Jesus Christ. It should be noted that it is the INTELLECT and the SENSES, that are used in understanding the message of the word on the case.
According to the gospel of PAUL, "spiritual things can only be spiritually, not intellectually, not sensually, not emotionally discerned."
1 Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
29) This jibes perfectly with the gospel of MATTHEW where he wrote, Jesus was recognized by Peter, not with flesh and blood, but by the revelation of the Father:
Matthew 16:15-17 ""He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?"And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven."
How easy for anyone to say, "Jesus is the Christ and the Son of the living God." Yet people do not agree as to Who Jesus really is!
30) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, people who saw and heard Jesus did not recognize Him, proving the truth that recognition of Him is only by divine revelation:
Matthew 16:13-14 "When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
From all indications, the truth seems to be proven by the people’s recognition of Jesus Christ in our time:
a. Under the Arian doctrine (espoused by Arius, 265-356 A.D.), people say, "Jesus is only a man and never a God."
b. Under the Jehovah doctrine (the name coined by Peter Galatin, 1518 A.D), adherents say, "Jesus is only a Minor God."
c. Under the Heraclian doctrine (endorsed by Heraclius, 638 A.D.), followers believe "Jesus is the Father and the Holy Spirit is only a force of God."
d. Under the Trinitarian doctrine (Championed by Athanasius, 295-373 A.D.), many people say, "Jesus is only one of the three divine persons of God."
e. Under the Oneness or Sabellian doctrine (espoused by Sabellius, 199-217 A.D.), advocates say, "The name of God is Jesus Christ and is the Father and the Holy Spirit." (Comparing this with the gospel of the apostles, we will find later that this doctrine is the most deceptive of all teachings about Jesus Christ.)
This is the proof that their declaration of "Jesus being the Christ and the Son of the living God," comes only from their "flesh and blood" and is not the result of divine revelation from the Father, as PETER recognized Jesus.
31) According to JOHN, JESUS Who is the Father in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16) and is also the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 3:17); He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and ending:
Revelation 1:8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
This jibes perfectly with the gospel of PAUL:
Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
32) According to the gospel of JAMES, knowledge about God should only be asked from and be given by God:
James 1:5-8 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."
33) According to the gospel of JOHN, real anointing from the HOLY SPIRIT does not need a man to teach another (or perhaps makes him understand):
1 John 2:27 "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things..."
This confirms Peter’s recognition of Jesus. It was not taught (or made understood) to him by any man, but by the knowledge coming from God.)
34) According to the gospel of PAUL, only JESUS CHRIST can and should appoint His servants, not any man.
Ephesians 4:11 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;"
35) Thus, according to the gospel of MATTHEW, JESUS CHRIST appointed him and the other apostles:
Matthew 10:2-4 "Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him."
This was the pattern shown by the Father God in the Old Testament. This has been continued after Pentecost. This must continue in our time. Truth never pass away. Jesus is the Truth. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. There is only one God and one Lord. There is only one appointing authority.
36) Thus, according to the gospel of PAUL, it was JESUS CHRIST Who appointed him as an apostle, not the other apostles:
Galatians 1:1 "Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)"
37) According to the gospel of PAUL, it was Christ Who taught him and not anyone else:
Galatians 1:11-12 "But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ."
38) According to the gospel of Matthew (Matthew 28:20), JESUS CHRIST said He would be with His disciples till the end of the world. According to the gospel of PAUL (Acts 2:1-4), it was the HOLY SPIRIT Who came to the Disciples. According to the gospel of PAUL again, it is the HOLY SPIRIT Who is dwelling in the individual believer:
1 Corinthians 3:16 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"
People today are waiting for the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. Unknown to them, He has already come at Pentecost! They do not know that our Lord is actually referring to His 2nd APPEARANCE.
39) According to the gospel of PAUL, JESUS CHRIST will APPEAR the 2nd time:
Hebrews 9:28 "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."
With human understanding, this will contradict what the apostles saw at the ascension of Christ into heaven, and what the angels told them. That is why, according to the gospel of PAUL, "spiritual things can only be spiritually discerned."
1 Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
40) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, LUKE, MARK, and JOHN, the Jews were waiting for the MESSIAH. The Messiah came and they did not recognize Him.
We are witnesses to the truth that what happened to the religious people during the time of our Lord, we also see people today waiting for the Messiah, the 2nd coming of our Lord.
41) According to the gospel of JOHN, the religious people during the time of Christ did not recognize their God.
John 8:54-55 "Jesus answered... it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying."
42) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, JESUS said:
Luke 21:33 "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away."
Today, we hear religious people say, "God is a mystery, incapable of clear and full recognition. We are but finite beings while God is infinite." Even quoting Bible verses, such as, "God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, nor His ways our ways." Is this not the same thing that our Lord witnessed during His time?)
43) According to the gospel of MARK, Jesus said, the PREREQUISITE to "loving God" is to "know the one Lord and one God."
Mark 12:29-31 "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart... this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."
Israel refers to the Chosen people of God. Jesus Christ therefore must be directing this only to the chosen few. Do not religious people today miss this "first commandment of all?" How could they possibly love God without the PREREQUISITE of KNOWING Him? This is what our Lord Himself and His disciple saw during their time in the religious people.
44) According to the gospel of JOHN, the "One Lord and one God" is expressed in the following:
1 John 5:7 (KJV only) "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
To follow human understanding, God must indeed be a mystery. Man cannot figure out how "God and the Lord is one," with the use of his intellect and his senses. At the baptism of Jesus, man sees the three whom he calls "persons of God." Man’s own brainchild makes God a great mystery, which is not the "gospel of the apostles." The great temptation is: why don’t people trust God that He would reveal Himself to them as He did to Peter.
45) According to the gospel of PAUL, the "One Lord and one God" is not a mystery to the chosen few, for all know their God:
Hebrews 8:11 "And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest."
46) According to gospel of MATTHEW, Jesus said, this secret thing that is hidden to the wise is revealed to the babes:
Matthew 11:25 "At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes."
47) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, our Lord gave the KEY to the unlocking of this mystery:
Matthew 18:3 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."
48) According to the gospel of JOHN, our Lord called His disciples "little children" for they had the KEY. Look how precise the message is with the LINE, instead of the verse:
John 13:33 "Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you."
49) According to the gospel of PAUL, this mystery is revealed to God’s chosen people:
Romans 16:25 "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,"
50) According to the gospel of PAUL, real believers will recognize GOD in the person of JESUS CHRIST:
Colossians 2:9 "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."
51) According to the gospel of JOHN, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, in Whom the fulness of the Godhead dwells, is sitting on the throne in heaven:
Revelation 4:2 "And immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne."
Revelation 5:6 "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain,..."
52) According to the gospel of JOHN, it is JESUS CHRIST Who is being worshipped in heaven, for in Him dwelleth the fulness of the Godhead bodily. This confirms that JESUS CHRIST is the Father and the Holy Spirt:
Revelation 4:10-11 "The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
53) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, Jesus Christ gave the clue for the name of the Father, the name of the Son, and the name of the Holy Spirit:
Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
54) According to the gospel of PAUL, both he and Peter received by revelation the NAME OF GOD, or the name of the Father, the name of the Son, and the name of the Holy Spirit, in the following:
Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 10:47-48 "Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord..." (Peter again)
Acts 19:5 "When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus." (Paul)
55) According to the gospel of JOHN, the BEAST, actually Satan, may look like the LAMB OF GOD, Jesus Christ. That is, the False God may also be professed as "Jesus Christ is the Father and the Holy Spirit:"
Revelation 13:11 "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."
However, according to the gospel of JOHN, the TRUE CHRIST and the FALSE CHRIST are distinguished by the kind of LANGUAGE that they speak:
56) According to the gospel of JOHN, the LANGUAGE of the True Christ is the "spiritual language."
John 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."
According to the gospel of PAUL, the Father God speaks the SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE:
Romans 7:14 "For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin."
57) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, this distinction in LANGUAGE of Christ and the Dragon was revealed.
Matthew 4:3-4 "And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
- Christ was speaking of spiritual bread. The Dragon or Satan was thinking of literal bread.
- Warning: A doctrine may come from men making SATAN that looks like the True CHRIST.
- They may profess JESUS CHRIST is the Father and the Holy Spirit. The name of God is Jesus Christ.
- The deception is revealed by the kind of LANGUAGE that this Christ look-alike speaks. He speaks the LITERAL-PHYSICAL LANGUAGE, while the True Christ speaks the SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE.
58) According to the gospel of JOHN, because of the uniqueness of the LANGUAGE OF GOD used in the Holy Bible, he testifies:
Revelation 5:1-5 "And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. 4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. 5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
- What is this book that John saw? Perhaps, there is none but the HOLY BIBLE that contains the words of God.
- Because of the uniqueness of the LANGUAGE OF GOD, the Holy Bible must be closed or sealed with 7 seals. 7 indicates completeness. Therefore, the Holy Bible is a perfectly sealed book that no one, but Christ alone can open it or reveal the great spritual message of the contents.
- Who can "open" or interpret the words of God? People take upon themselves to explain it. The result, division in Christianity today.
59) According to the gospel of MARK, the "opening of the book" is done this say:
Mark 4:34 "But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples."
According to the gospel of JOHN, what was written by MARK was confirmed, when he said "only the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, that is, our Lord Jesus Christ can break the seals and open the book."
60) According to the gospel of PETER, this truth about the book is confirmed:
2 Peter 1:20 "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation."
To the Natural Man, prophecy refers to things or events expected to happen in the future.
61) According to the gospel of MATTHEW, to our Lord Jesus Christ everything written in the book is like prophecies:
Matthew 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
LESSONS:
A) Opening the book ourselves and trying to recognize God and Jesus Christ is impossible. No one among the wise and the prudent recognized our Lord. The disciples recognized JESUS by divine revelation only.
B) If we just wait for the Root of David, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, that is, our Lord "to open" the Holy Bible for us, then, like the DISCIPLES, we can also recognize GOD, JESUS CHIRIST, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.
C) Any belief, teaching, or doctrine that does not conform to the "Apostles’ teachings," is counterfeit, and should be accursed.
1) We should not be misled by a great wonder. Satan can disguise as an angel, or an apostle, or Virgin Mary, or any well-known saint, and speak "righteously" about God and His words.
2) If what they speak is contrary to the "gospel of the apostles," then these must be impostors. They must be the servants of Satan trying to deceive you and me.
"JESUS is the TRUTH." FOR NOT RECOGNIZING JESUS, IS IT NOT A FACT THAT MANY PEOPLE MISSED THE FOLLOWING TRUTH?
1. According to the gospel of MATTHEW, is it not the truth that Jesus rebuked those who did not recognize Him to call any one on earth Father? Today, some religious leaders even take pride in being called Fathers:
Matthew 23: 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."
2. According to the gospel of MATTHEW, is it not the truth that Jesus rebuked those who did not recognize Him to call any one on earth Rabbi or Master (or teacher or leader or chief or head or pastor, or director, or supervisor, or shepherd)?
Matthew 23:10 "Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. Matthew 23:8 "But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
3. According to the gospel of JAMES, is it not the truth for any one to commit sin by respecting another person in spiritual matters?
James 2:9 "But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors."
If we are to open an Old Testament book, there are two titles that only belong to God. But to people who do not recognize Jesus Christ, truth is withheld and they appropriate these titles:
Psalms 111:9 "He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name."
People who do not recognize Jesus Christ cannot distinguish FUNCTION (work of the apostles, evangelists, prophets, pastors, teachers) from the TITLES (honor and glory that goes with the work).
4. According to the gospel of PAUL, only Jesus Christ has the sole authority to appoint servants of God:
Ephesians 4:11 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;"
For people who do not recognize JESUS CHRIST, they take this appointing power from our Lord. All denominations have their respective appointing authorities.
5. Is it the truth that JESUS as model, and the apostles following His Way, built chapels, churches, and cathedrals, supposedly the "house of God"?
According to the gospel of PAUL, it is a spiritual "house of God" or temple that they built. This they did by preaching the gospel of the Apostles:
1 Corinthians 3:16 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"
Acts 7:47-49 "But Solomon built him an house. 48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, 49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?"
6. For not recognizing JESUS, who can explain the truth that "Jesus did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill them," when He openly declared:
Matthew 15:11 "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man."
Matthew 15:17 "Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?"
Yet there is a Law of God enjoining the chosen to observe the following:
Leviticus 11:6-8 "And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. 8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you."
7. For not recognizing JESUS, who can explain the truth that "Jesus did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill them,"when He openly declared:
Luke 6:27 "But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,"
There is a Law of God stating:
Exodus 21:23-25 "And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, 24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."
8. Is it the truth that the apostles took preaching as a profession? According to the gospel of PAUL, this is what he did:
Acts 20:33-34 "I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. 34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me."
According to Paul, he followed the example of Jesus Christ. Paul was a tent maker. Jesus was a carpenter. Thus, he enjoins the real believers to follow his example:
1 Corinthians 11:1 "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ."
Mark 6:3 "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him."
There is a Law of God enjoining the chosen to give their Tithes and Offering, even rebuking for failing to follow:
Malachi 3:8-10 "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."
Who can explain the truth why JESUS and the apostles did not preach the Law on Tithes literally-physically. However, our Lord said:
Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."
Jesus Christ and the apostles followed the Law on Tithes SPIRITUALLY and not the LETTER of the law. Refer to the article TITHES & OFFERING and THE TEMPLE MERCHANTS.
With the erroneous following of the Law, Christianity is divided. All denominations prosper, and each claims the "truth." They spread the "gospel" claiming to be the "gospel of the apostles." Because of spiritual blindness, a prophecy is being fulfilled that is not noticed by many people:
Revelation 12:9 "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
2 Corinthians 11:14-15 "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness..."
